Come journey through pregnancy with Catherine, wife and mother of three expecting her fourth baby in the spring of 2006.

My name is Catherine and I am 29 years old. I have been married to Phil, 30, for the last 4 and half years, although we have been together since I was 18.

We have 3 kids together, Joseph was 6 in April (they grow so fast) and my twin daughters, Emily and Sophie were 4 in May. We decided we wanted another child last year to complete our family and on Christmas Eve last year I found out I was pregnant.

We were thrilled, but unfortunately when I was 16 weeks pregnant I was told my baby had died. We didn't know why. My labor was induced 5 days later and I gave birth to another son, his umbilical cord had got twisted around his right leg and caused some damage to his leg so we think that is why he passed away. We named him Paul Joseph after Phil's brother who tragically passed away in January 04.

We decided shortly after Paul was born that we wanted to try again and after 4 months of trying to conceive, here I am! I'm 4 weeks and 4 days pregnant today and although I am very happy, thrilled even to be expecting this baby I am feeling very nervous and a little anxious, but I'm trying to stay positive about it all. I keep taking pregnancy tests just to make sure I still have a line. I think I have done about 6 already!

Anyway, 4 weeks and 4 days pregnant and already I'm having some symptoms. Tender breasts, a little nausea, mild cramping, a craving for oxtail soup! I also have a swollen tummy but I think I have water retention. I cant get my rings off my fingers.

That's about all for now.
