Makensie's story
My name is Makenzie and here is my story of having quadruplets! I found out I was pregnant only two short years after my marriage. Then, three months after that, I found out I was having quads. Oh my gosh! The pregnancy was okay for the first two trimesters. The only thing was, that I couldn't keep anything down if my life depended on it. It was horrible. During the third trimester, my hubby, Peter, and I had to choose names quickly, because we knew that we wouldn't be going to full term. So we decided that all the names would start with S's; they were going to be Sebastian, Simon, Scott and Steven and their middle names would start with J's. as in Sebastian Jeremy, Simon Joshua, Scott Jonas and Steven Julian. Perfect. Their names are picked out, the room is ready. All we need are babies.

I went into labor at 33 weeks. My doctor already planned a c-section. So, after 32 minutes, out came Sebastian Jeremy who weighed 3 lbs 6 oz, then came his identical twin, Simon Joshua who weighed 3 lbs 7 oz. After him came Scott at 3 lbs 8 oz -- who we later named Jonas Scott instead of vice versa because he and Julian (3 lbs 10 oz) were identical twins.

There you have it! Sebastian and Simon are identical twins who look exactly like me and Jonas and Julian are another set of identical twins who look exactly like my hubby.

They only spent three weeks in the hospital and are now happy, healthy and extremely energetic five year old quadruplets. I just recently gave birth again to a little girl named Teighlor Alexandra who weighed 7 lbs 10 oz. Boy, what a difference that pregnancy was!PregnancyAndBaby.com
