According to the Guinness Book of World Records, Canadian Anna Bates gave birth to a baby boy who weighed 23 pounds, 12 ounces and was 30 inches long. He was born way back in 1879, however, and died just 11 hours later.
The biggest baby a healthy mom delivered was another boy, who truly tipped the scales at 22 pounds, 8 ounces. His mom was Carmelina Fedele from Italy, and that was in 1955. More recently, a woman in Indonesia birthed a 19-pound boy. That’s toddler-sized!

Biggest baby I don’t know for sure, but my brother, who is now 6′9″ was born at 16 lbs, + some ounces, (can’t remember how many). My mom is long gone now, and he doesn’t have his birth certificate, but I remember, (my sister and I were teens) when he was born in 1969, actually the day they landed on the moon.
We asked my mom, what did he look like the next morning, and she groaned and just said, “he’s the biggest one in there”, we thought hmmm, but when we got to the nursery window, we sucked in air and jumped back to see him! He looked like someone had taken a 6 month old and pushed him into a newborn “pan”. His poor head and feet were wedged in so tight, it looked like he must have had a headache. She never mentioned the mane of beautiful blonde hair he had or that he was wrinkle free, courtesy of a C-section. Beautiful baby, but oh what a Big One!
I have 4 sons..9pounds&3oz in 1992…11pounds 2 oz in 1994…10 pounds 10oz in 1995…& 11 pounds 1oz in 1998…I am a small woman of 120lbs & I am proud to say that every 1 of them was born naturally…no pain meds at all…you can do it too!!!!

i am the baby of the family .i am 3 minutes younger than my twin sister.i guess that makes her the middle child since we have a older sister. we were not big babies ,but for twins 1 month premature i guess maybe we were .my older sister cathie came into the world at 4lbs.6oz.and i arrived 3 minutes later at a whopping 5lbs.6oz.that was 53 years ago and i still weigh more than her:):):)

Well, I was at time of my first childs birth 20, no gestational diabetes. 5′4″, 160lbs, full term and vaginally delivered a 23 in, 9 lbs., 11.6 oz healthy baby boy.
I am currently pregnant with my 3rd son and he is expected to be quite large. My first two were small weighing 5 lbs, and 5 lbs 12 ounces. I’m so scared to have a huge baby!!!!
my son was 11.3lbs when he ws born in 1974. he’s 35 years old now 6.2ft. and wieghs around 225 lbs.

i am 4-11 i survived 26 hours of natrual childbirth and push out seven pound 3 once baby girl with no epridrual and felt like pushed out a nine pound baby my husband said i push our baby out like a champ grunted threw pushing stage.then two year latter i had twin boys eight pounds one seven and half pounds again no drugs labor was 15 hours and pushed fifteen and half pounds out me .it hurt like you wont believe!
I was born 2 months early and I was still 8 pounds 5 ounces, so image if I wouldve gone the whole 8 or 9 months I wouldve been huggeee like 10 or 11 pounds
i had a big baby emergency c section he weighed 11 lbs 9 ounces . now 33 weeks pregnant and due another big baby but fighting for my vaginal birth with doctors.

in 2002 i gave birth to a healthy baby girl at 8lbs even and in 2004 i gave birth to a healthy baby boy at 9lbs 10oz both by c-section.
