Its 100 percent, undeniably official- Britney Spears and Demi Lovato are X Factor’s new full-time judges!

Britney Spears and Demi Lovato are definitely, totally, 100 percent confirmed as the new judges on The X Factor — and their appearance at the Fox upfronts today in New York City seals the deal. But it seems the presentation was for more than making what everyone already knew official. It was also a great opportunity to slam the show’s competition, The Voice.

Fox president Kevin Reilly introduced the new judges panel with the first slam, saying, “The Voice hit a series low at the end of the season. I’m betting on The X Factor and here’s why.”

Enter Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid, Britney Spears and Demi Lovato. That would be your official confirmation that the two hot pop princesses are on the judging panel.

“Well, we delivered,” Cowell said of the exciting new lineup. “This has taken a year, and I am thrilled to be able to confirm the return of L.A. Reid, and the addition of Demi Lovato and the superstar Britney Spears.”

Enter Miss Britney. “I’m so excited about this whole experience,” she said. “It’s going to be so much fun and so different than anything I’ve ever done. I’m ready to find a true star.”

Will Britney Spears ruin The X Factor? >>

“I’m totally stoked to be here, because of not only the opportunity to be a judge here, but the presence of you guys,” Lovato chimed in. “It’s just an honor to be standing next to you. I’m excited to represent my generation, and I’m ready to find the winner.”

Simon Cowell had one last swipe at The Voice. “This year we are seriously going to kick butt,” Cowell promised. “The Voice is going up against us; I wish them luck, but second’s not great. We are going to make this the best series we’ve ever made.”

This could be an even lamer feud than that between Christina Aguilera and Adam Levine.
