Snoop Dogg’s next role: CEO?

Snoop Dogg is a boss in the rap world, but can he take over Silicon Valley with his smooth vocals?

What’s the worst way to get fired? In person? No. In a meeting? No. How about on the phone?

Snoop Dogg wants to run Yahoo

Yes, it actually happened. Carol Blartz was sacked as the CEO for web giant Yahoo! over the phone Tuesday.

“To all,” Bartz wrote in a company-wide email. “I am very sad to tell you that I’ve just been fired over the phone by Yahoo’s Chairman of the Board. It has been my pleasure to work with all of you and I wish you only the best going forward.”

Yowza.

Business insiders are already talking about who is going to take her place. We know at least one person who’s up to the job: rapper Snoop Dogg.

“Im takn over as tha CEO of Yahoo,” Snoop wrote on Twitter. “Need sum of that Snoop Dogg content ya digg.”

Sure do, Snoop. We’re pretty sure he’d put some style back into the company — he’s managed youth sports teams and knows a thing or two about building a brand.

Not to mention what he’d give out as company gifts during the holidays: Pimp cups for all!

All right, we doubt the board for Yahoo! will agree to putting Snoop in charge. Maybe 50 Cent has a chance, though — he’s known for his ability to singlehandedly earn a company millions of dollars.
