We actually had two not so crazy random names last week! That is a good deal. Let’s see what the surprise names for this week are…

Baby boy: Samuel, from the Hebrew, schama, ‘hear’, thus heard by God.

Baby girl: Stella, from the Latin, stella, ’star.’

I swear I picked randomly — it’s odd that two great names (both with S’s) came up. In general I don’t love Samuel but I do like it. I also really like the name Sam so it works out. I LOVE Stella. I think Stella is a great name for a little that also translates into adulthood well. It’s pretty and old fashioned. I really like it. I would in fact maybe put it on my list of top 10 baby names.

Both names have really nice meaning too I think.
