10 ways to raise an eco-baby

There are so many ways to raise your baby in an eco-friendly manner but some key points are bigger than others.

Use cloth diapers
Breastfeed
Paint the nursery with non-toxic paint
Buy an energy efficient washer (how many loads of laundry a year do babies create? I don’t even want to know)
Buy organic baby clothing and bedding
Use energy efficient light bulbs in the nursery lamp
Make or buy organic baby food
Check out baby books from the library instead of buying them (this one is hard for me; but it is a great tip)
Use non-toxic cleaners around the house
Buy fair trade coffee. Coffee! How does this relate to a baby? Believe me, you’ll need it and fair-trade is more eco-friendly than conventional.
