Welcome to March! This is a good month because it means spring is almost here. We can all look forward to the sunshine and new flowers headed our way.
I thought that we’d celebrate the upcoming spring with a giveaway or two, starting with a great book for mamas and babies. In a post later today, I’ll give you a full review of this book, but for now I’ll just share which book it is, and how you can snag it.
The Baby Signing Book: 350 ASL Signs for Babies and Toddlers
This book is awesome and was written by the founder of the sign language program, WeeHands, Sara Bingham. Bingham is also a mama of two signing babes herself.
Rules:
We don’t have many rules around here. In fact, I can only think of a couple.
If you’d like to win this book, simply leave a comment on this post that says something akin to, “I’d like to win this sign language book.” Leave your comment by the end of March 19th.
Because I’m shipping this one, I’m going to have to limit eligible winners to the U.S. Sorry about that, but cross country shipping is just a bit much.
I’ll do a random drawing on the first day of spring - March 2oth to choose a winner.

this looks like a great book, especially since my son is almost three and not talking. I try to show he some easy signs but I don’t know that many. this book would be a great help for us to communicate better.

I had the privilege of teaching my first two children sign language and plan on teaching my now 4 month old. It is a wonderful tool to communicate. Plus, I was on my way to becoming an sign interpreter just before I got pregnant with my first. I still enjoy “talking” with my deaf friends.

I would love this book. I thought my little guy some signs. He didn’t use them much–except “more”. One day, several months after he had used any signs, he demanded “More” milk. I said, “Can you ask nicely?”. He put the cup down and signed “more”.

Yes, I’d like to win this sign language book. It would be perfect. My daughter works with medically challenged babies and small children.
