Diehard fans of Sex and the City are loving AnnaSophia Robb’s portrayal of our beloved Carrie Bradshaw on the CW’s The Carrie Diaries. The former child star has grown into quite the budding actress and fashionista — emphasis on the last part — and it’s so fun to watch her style evolution.
Recently, AnnaSophia hit up an H&M event and rocked this super cute topknot and fresh makeup look. I turned to celeb makeup artist and hairstylist Sonia Lee to get the breakdown on the look. Have fun recreating it at home, dolls!
Get the hair
- Starting with damp hair, spray volumizing spray on the roots and lightly all over.
- Turn head upside down and start to blow dry.
- Once hair is mostly dry, flip head back upright and blow dry the rest of the way with a round brush to polish locks.
- Lightly curl hair and create a high ponytail, using bobby pins to pin it up into a messy bun.
