Homemade Herbal Toner
Give the gift of radiant skin. Witch hazel is really inexpensive at the drug store and is a fabulous toner. Pour a bottle over your favorite herbs or fresh cucumbers, seal and allow the mixture to soak for a few days in the fridge.
Develop your own concoction using lavender, rosemary, cloves, basil or mint. You can also add a drop or two of essential oil for added fragrance. Strain and pour into plastic or glass bottles with your “custom” label and add a bow and some sparkle for Christmas flare. Be sure to focus on quality rather than quantity because the toner will spoil if not used relatively quickly.
