| We named our son Sullivan after our best man whose name was Steve Sullivan. I thought steve was too common, so we went with Sullivan. Everyone I have ever met has said it is such a great name. And since my husband is Irish, it went great with our last name. He is six now and has started calling himself "Sully" but he will always be Sullivan to me! |

| I love the name Sullivan...for a boy or girl. We are on our fourth try (three miscarriages) and each time the name was to be Sullivan. Well we're over the "hump" of twelve weeks and we are due in Feb. 2002 (birthday of 02/02/02?) and the name will be, still, Sullivan. I actually picked it from Sesame Street. Remember the construction worker with no eyes, just an eyebrow? His coworker/foreman would always say, "Hey Sully..."? Well that's my favourite memory of that show (next to John-John counting with Grover) so I want to keep with happiness! ..It doesn't hurt that my wife and I have Irish backrounds either... |

| A nice name that's appropriate for a male at any age (always a plus!) It does seem a tad trendy to me, but if I can get over that our 3rd baby just might be named Sullivan (provided we have a boy)! |

| There's a Sullivan Learning Center by where I live and that's all I hear when I hear the name. |

| I think this may be the name for our baby if we have a boy next time...i think the learning centers name is Sylvan, close though. |

| I love it... it is one of my choices for a boy's name.. that and Miles.. we will probably go with Miles because my husband favours that name. But I love the sound of Sullivan Michael... Mike is my husband's best friend. It is such a strong name.. manly... but has a softness to it. |
