The stepson of R&B king Usher is reportedly brain dead after suffering severe head trauma when a jet ski ran over him while floating on an inner tube in a lake near Atlanta, Georgia.
Kyle Glover, the son of Usher’s ex-wife Tameka Foster and Atlanta clothier Ryan Glover, was rushed to a nearby hospital and immediately listed in critical condition — but now sources tell TMZ that the 11-year-old has been declared brain dead.

Usher and Foster share two biological children, sons Usher Raymond V and Naviyd Ely Raymond, and have been waging a fierce custody battle since their 2009 divorce with Usher claiming Foster is unstable and Foster saying her famous ex abuses drugs, cheated on her with her own bridesmaid from their 2007 wedding, and presents a danger to their kids because he is being stalked.
But for now, the pair has called a truce. Usher immediately sent his private jet to pick up the distraught mom, who was out of town when the accident happened. He joined Foster at the hospital Saturday night and reportedly remains with her as the decision is made whether to remove the young boy from life support.

Atlanta’s Department of Natural Resources is investigating the accident, using a specialized computer program to re-create the collision and determine exactly how fast the jet ski and surrounding boats were traveling when Kyle was hit. Serious charges could be filed against the jet ski operator depending on the agency’s findings.
