  • Tape recorder
  • Construction paper or card stock
  • Staples

    • Plain ceramic coffee mug
    • Permanent markers
    • Oven

    Directions:

    1. Help your kiddos customize the coffee mug with nicknames, doodles or messages of love for a personalized cup of love that is both sentimental and functional thanks to permanent markers.
    2. Place the decorated mugs in a cold oven. Heat the oven up to 350 degrees F and bake the mugs at that temperature for 30 minutes.
    3. Carefully remove the mugs from the oven with an oven mitt and allow them to cool.
