Everyone deserves to find “the one,” but after a spin on The Bachelor wheel of love with Brad Womack, was Shawntel Newton really expecting to find her prince in Ben Flajnik?
We can’t make it through one episode of The Bachelor without a disaster striking, proving once again that this junk has to be made up.
After a magical, and we use the term loosely, evening of girls skiing in their bikinis (group date/Rachel received a rose), Ben Flajnik climbing the Bay Bridge with a frightened Emily (individual date/rose received) and Lindzi getting her snuggle on with the man (individual date/rose received), Shawntel Newton stormed the cocktail hour and made her bid for Ben.
Yes, a girl who isn’t part of this season thought it was okay to bust in and make herself at home. Yeah, we weren’t feeling her entrance.

Before we get into the party crasher, we have to say RIP to our girl, Brittney.
She wasn’t feeling the show, so she made a quick beeline for the door, leaving Ben dumbfounded in the process — he got over it quickly.
Okay, for those of you not familiar with Shawntel Newton, she got cozy with Brad Womack during season 15, but fell short after she made it to the final four.
Shawntel strutted past the girls, whose jaws dropped to the floor, as did Ben’s. He let out a shocked, “holy s**t!”
She went on and on about how she enjoyed the time they “talked” in the past and how she feels there’s something there and needs to know. All the girls wondered the same thing we did: WTF!
We’re not sure how these two have a “connection,” but we’re pretty sure it’s just something Shawntel made up in her mind.
When Ben got down to his final rose, Erika toppled down to floor after realizing it was either her, Jaclyn or Shawntel getting the red flower of approval.
The sad thing is, everyone got upset for no reason. He didn’t give anyone the final rose. Bam! Take that Shawntel! She had no business trying to sneak in with the show already in process.
