Rihanna and Chris Brown new details

Rihanna and Chris Brown’s alleged domestic violence case is producing new details.

A law enforcement source says Rihanna’s injuries were not of the mild bruising variety, as was originally reported. The source says her injuries were very severe, including two “huge contusions” that swelled up on each temple, and “a bloody lip and nose.”

The source says the contusions made Rihanna “look like an MMA fighter or something…(it) looked like she was growing devil’s horns.”

It is reported that Rihanna also suffered bites on either her legs or arms.

Rihanna was taken to Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles for treatment. A witness in the ER says, “Rihanna was clearly very upset by what had happened and I could hear her screaming. Rihanna was trying to get her point across about something, she sounded like she was crying as she tried to get to put her point across.”

A close friend of Rihana’s says her family wants to get her away from Brown as quickly as possible. “They want to get her back to Barbados. They want to keep her away from Chris right now,” said the source.

Rihanna’s publicist has refused to comment specifically on the incident, saying only that the singer is doing “well” and thanking fans for their “concern and support.”

Meanwhile, Brown is already feeling the fallout from his alleged actions. While charges are pending, Wrigley’s gum has already pulled a commercial starring Brown. 

“Wrigley is concerned by the serious allegations made against Chris Brown,” says Wrigley spokeswoman Jennifer Luth. “We believe Mr. Brown should be afforded the same due process as any citizen. However, we have made the decision to suspend the current advertising featuring Brown and any related marketing communications until the matter is resolved.”
